Presenting "Serenity," a 47-foot Bayliner 4788 Pilothouse Motoryacht that offers an impressive combination of volume, range, and all-weather capability in a proven fiberglass production design. A modern classic, "Serenity," is a well-proportioned waterfront home that offers the deck space and interior volume of a much larger vessel at an accessible price point.
Built on a modified deep-V fiberglass hull finished in white gelcoat, Serenity features a fully enclosed pilothouse, spacious aft salon, and a thoughtfully arranged multi-stateroom interior. Whether you envision coastal cruising up the Pacific coast, extended liveaboard weekends, or bluewater passages to Baja and beyond, the 4788 Pilothouse platform was engineered for exactly that mission. With twin turbo-diesel inboards producing 310 horsepower each, a dedicated 12.5 kW generator, and a 444-gallon fuel capacity, the range and self-sufficiency to venture from Cabo to Glacier Bay are within your grasp.
HULL & CONSTRUCTION
The hull is molded fiberglass with a white gelcoat finish and a full-length aluminum rub rail. Decks and cockpit sole are fiberglass with molded non-skid surfaces throughout. The superstructure is fiberglass construction with white gelcoat.
The underwater body carries twin bronze four-blade propellers on 2-inch stainless steel shafts supported by bronze struts and bronze compression shaft seals. Dual bronze-plate rudders are actuated by a single hydraulic cylinder with a stainless steel rudder stock and bronze tiller arms, providing positive, responsive steering at all speeds. Through-hull fittings below the waterline are bronze; above-waterline fittings are plated bronze and plastic. All seacocks are bronze ball valves.
ACCOMMODATIONS & INTERIOR
The interior layout makes excellent use of the 4788's generous beam. Stepping below from the aft cockpit, you enter a full-width aft salon that serves as the social heart of the vessel. The salon flows naturally into the enclosed pilothouse above and the forward living spaces below, providing a practical and comfortable arrangement for extended cruising with family or guests.
Stepping from the aft cockpit into the salon, with an "L"- shaped settee and table to starboard, and a "U"- shaped galley forward and to port. Forward, a Master Cabin features a queen island bed and an ensuite Master head with a shower. port guest cabin and a separate starboard guest head complete the sleeping arrangements - ideal for couples or small crews traveling together. Two vacuum-flush heads are installed, discharging to a 48-gallon holding tank with an electric macerator pump and a tank monitor at the distribution panel.
Climate control is well covered with one 12,000 BTU and two 6,000 BTU air-handling units, supplemented by cabin heaters for cool-weather passage. A central vacuum system adds a welcome touch of convenience for keeping the interior shipshape on extended stays.
GALLEY
The galley is appointed to handle everything from a quick offshore breakfast to a full dinner at anchor. Equipment includes a full-size stove and oven, microwave, refrigerator and freezer, built-in ice maker, An 11-gallon water heater draws from both shore power AC and engine coolant heat exchange, ensuring hot water is available under any circumstances.
