INTRODUCTION:
Designed to be a "big" small cruiser with the a rig meant for heavy air performance and great sail control, the Island Packet 350 was meant to pack a cruising punch. Bob Johnson's 350 design was first introduced in 1997 offering several new design features including an integrated sugar scoop swim platform, a Hoyt staysail self-tacking boom for easy heavy air handling and used other key classic design features like Johnson's moderate displacement hull with a full foil keel.
"Spirit Bear" is a well maintained 1998 model with great additions like a generator, air conditioning, and an updated sail inventory. The current owners purchased her in 2018 and have been cruising the middle-bay while regularly updating the boat with over $45,000 worth of parts, repairs and upgrades over the course of their ownership.
