MOTIVATED OWNER
A nicely maintained and well-equipped example of the very popular cruiser. Probably the roomiest and most comfortable 30' cruising sail boat to be found. Described in Practical Sailor Magazine as "not to be overlooked". The 303 was designed to be a spacious cruising boat sailing at low angles of heel, have a shallow draft fixed keel and perform well. It can sleep six adults in (2) v-berths, (2) settee berths, and a double quarter berth. The roomy cockpit has wheel steering and large storage areas beneath the contoured seats and the lazzarette. Powered by a 13hp Yanmar diesel fresh water cooled. Many recent upgrades.
Roomy interior arrangement sleeps six, (2) in forward v-berth cabin, (2) on salon settees, (2) in double size quarter berth. The forward cabin is seperated from the salon by a folding door. The forward v-berths convert to large bed with insert filler. This cabin has a small vanity with mirror and storage. Additional storage is above the berths in recessed compartments. Opening ports and opening deck hatch provide light and ventilation. The salon has port & starboard settees with removeable upholstered seat and back cushions. Storage is provided in recessed compartments above the back cushions and compartments behind the back cushions. The folding table has support legs and stows against the forward bulkhead. The forward bulkhead has teak magazine, bottle,& cup racks. A hanging locker is portside forward and the head/shower is starboard side forward. The galley is portside aft and has a stainless steel sink with manual water pump and H/C pressure water.. There is a stainless 2-burner stove, with cabinet above large ice box, three large drawers, one hinged storage area and a cabinet beneath the countertop. A cabinet above the stove has sliding Lexan doors. The companionway ladder can be removed to access the engine space beneath the cockpit. The quarter berth is starboard beside the engine room. There is a storage cabinet with Lexan door, a teak rack for storage and circuit breaker panel above the forward end of the quarter berth. The salon has opening ports with curtains and an overhead hatch. The interior lighting is provided by small bullet lights which are swivel mounted throughout the interior. The interior is trimmed in teak , mahagony and white formica. The cockpit is spacious and comfortable. There are port and starboard facing contoured seats with storage beneath. The port seat has a large lazarette beneath. There is a hinged helmsman seat aft. The Edson wheel steering pedestal has leather covered stainless wheel, stainless railing, magnetic compass , teak cup holder and hinged folding table. The cockpit is shaded by a dodger and bimini new in 2022
