This 1977 Tanton 42, a custom-designed, sloop rigged, Bluewater racer/cruiser. She is powered with a 50 HP diesel inboard engine, full displacement, round bottom, deep, fin keel, reverse transom design, and fiberglass-reinforced plastic construction, with cockpit helm.
Built-in 1977 with a below deck interior that is well laid out and functional for local or long-distance cruising.
Below deck, the main cabin includes a large and well laid out galley on port and large center chart table and nav-station on starboard. for easy access from the helm or adjacent dinette.
Forward is a quick setup for dinette-style seating and converts to bunks for the crew.
Aft quarters are two spacious berths. Several organized lockers with ample storage for gear and sails.
Roomy head with shower located mid-ship, starboard.
The engine room is easily accessible below the center chart table.
Two (2) Conermex 330-watt solar panels with Epever MPPT solar controller. Wind generator three (3) blade Unknown make and wattage.
